I put Carson on the quilt, on his back, and walked into the kitchen to do something. When I walked back in the living room he was turned over on his belly!! I grabbed the camera to see if he would do it again......

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

Carson Rolled Over Today!!! He rolled from his stomach to his back and is trying hard to roll from his back to his belly. What a big boy!! Good job Buddy, we are so proud of you!! This is a day for the baby book :)

Baby Feet

I think that it is so funny that Carson Curls his toes when he eats. This boy defiantly has some big feet! His Nana Pat thinks that he gets his feet size from her.......wait is that possible? :)

Head Up High

As you can see, Carson is getting really good at holding his head up on his own. When I have him on 'tummy time' he tries hard to roll over to his back. He will be rolling around this place in no time!

Before and After

I try and always put Carson to sleep at nap time while he is still awake. Since he was born we have always swaddled him up before he goes to sleep and he really seems to like it. Lately, I have been trying to see if he will sleep without his swaddle because he keeps getting himself out of it in the middle of his naps and I think it is waking him up. When he is not all wrapped up his arms seem to wake him up every time they hit the mattress, so I continue to swaddle him. He has started to talk to/sooth himself before he dozes off. So today when I put him down for nap time, snug as a bug in a rug, I sat in the other room for a few minutes until I didn't hear him talking to himself anymore and when I poked my head in ....... there he was, wide awake and chewing on his hand - I had to laugh! Notice, he had already come right out of the swaddle.

Car Seat Carson

Not much explaining to do on this one! He was just waking up when this picture was taken, you can tell because his little eyes still look so sleepy!

Football Season Has Arrived

You can tell Football season has arrived at our house, both boys are glued to the game!

Lunch With Dad

Carson and I went to D&M today to spend the morning with James. Since Saturday's aren't as busy as weekdays, we got to spend some good quality time with Dad!

More fun at the neighbors!

Our neighbor, Lamar, loaded Carson in with blankets and we all watched as he tried to figure this bouncy seat out. I think it might be just a little while longer until he gets it down, but it sure is fun to watch!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I just had to show off this amazing stocking! My Grandmother made stockings for us when we were kids and when James and I got married I put in a request for her to make one for both of us for our home. Nana has started making stockings for the Great Grand kids and this is the front of Carson's!! The two dogs on the front are Sophie and Flea, our two dogs!! I just love it!! What a treasure all of these will be, Thank you Nana for all the hard work and love that goes into making these! We love them and will cherish them always!

Good Morning World!

Carson is such a morning person, he actually is this happy every time he wakes up! I asked James to take a picture of him with his phone, since it doesn't flash, so we could capture his smile. I am just thankful for those smiles, because now I am that happy in the morning too! Thanks Buddy!

Sunny Days

We walked down to play outside with our neighbors , so I put a hat on Carson so his little head and eyes wouldn't be bothered by the sun. I just love Bucket Hats!!

Like Grandfather, Like Grandson?

This photo has become a family favorite. Carson had his first trip to Nanu's work last week and was able to meet a lot of people that Nanu and his daddy have worked with for many years. We laugh at this picture because we are still trying to see a Frieri resemblance!

Big Boy Seat

This is a 'Bumbo' seat and is for babies who are not yet able to sit up on their own. We tried it out for the first time and it went over really well! We are still working on head balance and holding it up on his own, notice the chair helping in the back, but he will be doing it on his own very soon!
PS: It is hard not to capture this particular face from him, because my flash goes off twice before it takes it - by then he is dazed by the flash! Sorry buddy!
