Carson's First Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Carson enjoyed opening his presents and eating the paper, yummy!

Vacation Baths

Heading Up North

We headed to Amarillo for Christmas this year and Mimi wanted to make sure that Carson had all the right head gear for the colder Weather!

Birthday Parties

Our good friend, Krisha, has a little boy who celebrated his 4th birthday last weekend. Needless to say Carson and I could not miss the party! Here Carson is with Kennedy, who is almost 2! She kept wanting to hold 'the baby', she didn't realize he was going to be twice her size! She was so sweet with him!

Holiday Celebrations

We had a great weekend full of Holiday celebration with our families. Needless to say, Carson was pooped by weekends end!!

Good Sport

It's been pretty chilly here the past week or so and Carson has been a good sport about getting all bundled up when we have to make a venture out in the cold.

Sooooo Sleepy

Carson and I had just finished our walk and stopped by to saw hi to our neighbors that were outside. Lamar's sister was holding Carson and swaying back and forth. Carson just couldn't take it any longer, he put his head down and was out like a light.

Floor Time

Carson really enjoys playing on the hardwood floors, I think it is because he can slide around a lot easier.

Feeding time is quite the mess these days, but that doesn't change the fact that this baby boy is irresistible!

One of my new favorite things is to watch Carson sleeping. It never fails, somehow when he is sleeping he makes me laugh. In this video, I love the belly hanging over the diaper! As you can see, he caught me!

Seahorse

Some kids have a teddy bear or a blanket, Carson has a Seahorse! To all you new parents, This is the best bedtime tool and a must have! It lights up and plays music when you squeeze it and it always grabs Carson's attention. When I walked in to check on him today, he was using Seahorse as a pillow :) He is getting to the stage where, not only does he like to look at Seahorse, but he like to chew on him and snug with him too!

All Bundled Up

Carson and I try and walk every night before getting ready for bed and now that it is starting to cool off, Carson gets all bundled up!

Only in Texas

Only in Texas can you be enjoying an afternoon in the sun one day and it be cold and windy the next! We were outside at the neighbors yesterday enjoying the November Sun!

Getting back into the swing of things

I haven't done a post in over a week, because we have all been under the weather around here and there is just not a lot of shots to be taken of a cold. Carson has a double ear infection and a Bronchial infection, but you would never know it, he has been a real Champ! I took this video when we got back from the Doctor on Monday, as you can see his DAYS are great!

The Boys

I had taken this photo of James and Carson with James' phone, but had forgotten about it until he just emailed it to me. I love it!! I especially love Carson's eyes in this photo. I sure love you guys!

Feet

For days Carson has been trying so hard to reach his feet. On Halloween night he finally reached them. Now one of his favorite things to do is to play with them.

Ready, Set, Crawl

Not crawling yet, but by the looks of things, it won't be long!

Sleeping Positions

Now that Carson can roll over, he winds up in the funniest sleeping positions. Even though I put him down long ways, he almost always ends up across the short side of the crib. When I walked in and saw this, the first picture, I cracked up!

Trick or Treat

I had originally thought that I was just going to put Caron in a Halloween Onesie for trick or treating, but when I was at Target on Halloween morning I saw this and just couldn't resist! We had fun trick or treating with the neighbors, but Carson was pooped by the end!

Mail

When we checked the mail today, Carson had more mail than anybody! As you can see, he love to read his mail......Did I say read his mail, I meant eat his mail! :)

Carson has been eatting cereal for about 2 weeks now.......I guess he has the whole spoon thing down!

Birthday Party

Carson was invited to his first birthday party on Saturday, some friends of ours had a son that turned 1. This was his first time to dress up in a two piece outfit and wear shoes, he had to look like one of the big boys!

Now that Carson is 4 months old he gets to start eatting Solid food, which means time to break out the highchair!!

Happy 4 Months Carson!!

Carson is 4 months old today!! I can't believe it!! That also means 4 month check up and 4 month shots!! Carson weighed in at 17lbs 10oz - 95% for weight and measured 27.5", which puts him in the 110% for height! Looks like he is going to be quite tall.......just another thing he didn't get from me! :) I can't wait!

Jammies

We have really been working on putting Carson to sleep without being swaddled, so he can get used to his arms being out and what to do with them while sleeping. Although this has resulted in many more scrapes on the face, it also means he gets to start wearing Jammies!! I just love these, he looks so cute in them!

Bedtime Stories

Our Bedtime routine includes a bath, a story, prayers, a bottle and a lullaby. Tonight Carson got a special treat, the story was read by Daddy!

Pumpkin Patch

Carson and I met some friends of ours out at the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, what a neat place. Although Carson wasn't able to enjoy some of the activities, there was some great photo opps! This time next year, he will be loving that place!!

Jumperoo

Our days have become much more active! Now that Carson's 'wake' time is a little longer, we have a little more time to play. This Jumperoo is just one of his new favorite past times.

I put Carson on the quilt, on his back, and walked into the kitchen to do something. When I walked back in the living room he was turned over on his belly!! I grabbed the camera to see if he would do it again......

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

Carson Rolled Over Today!!! He rolled from his stomach to his back and is trying hard to roll from his back to his belly. What a big boy!! Good job Buddy, we are so proud of you!! This is a day for the baby book :)

Baby Feet

I think that it is so funny that Carson Curls his toes when he eats. This boy defiantly has some big feet! His Nana Pat thinks that he gets his feet size from her.......wait is that possible? :)

Head Up High

As you can see, Carson is getting really good at holding his head up on his own. When I have him on 'tummy time' he tries hard to roll over to his back. He will be rolling around this place in no time!
